About Me

Me. That is a concept that I have long forgotten. My life consists of my husband and my two children. I spend all my time thinking about them, and doing my best to take care of them. I guess I forget to spend time on myself, or maybe I don’t have time. So here’s what I can tell you about me:

I am 24 years old (though at the end of the day I feel much older!) I come from a large family, 8 of us all together, so I have always been very family oriented. My family has, and is, my very best friend and support system.

I went to a community college to start in my quest to become a teacher. I love teaching and children, so this was always the direction I planned on taking my life. In the middle of my schooling I met my true love. Though becoming a teacher was always my dream, I postponed it to start my family. I only have to finish 1 class in order to get my Associates Degree and graduate from the community college. Of course I have only had 1 class to finish for the last 4 years, so I have postponed it longer than I had originally planned.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 5 year together this month. It has been a long, hard road, but it has bee worth it. He is my very best friend, and I couldn’t live without him. I have two sons, a 3 year old and a 17 month old. They are the absolute joy in my life.

Other than taking care of my family, I enjoy to read, write, fish, and tutor. I haven’t done much of any of the above in the last 3 or more years, but when I find time I really enjoy myself. Luckily for me, my husband and children also love to fish, so I get to do that more often than some of the other things I enjoy to do. (Here’s a little secret that I usually don’t tell people, but I also like doing Calculus in my spare time. I kept the book from college, and sometimes I like to work a few problems, just for fun. I’m a nerd, I know.)

Other than that, I’m not sure what to tell you. I guess I’m not a terribly fascinating person but I try to keep my sense of humor going, even when times get tough.
