My doctor has prescribed my children fluoride for their teeth. We have city water, and APPARENTLY it doesn’t have enough fluoride in it so my children take supplements. Here’s my problem. There are some doctors who don’t prescribe fluoride because they don’t feel it really makes a difference. In fact, my children’s doctor didn’t prescribe it for a while because he didn’t feel it really worked, and later changed his mind.

So, does fluoride really make a difference? Will my children’s teeth be healthier now that they are taking the supplement? I am giving it to them because the doctor said so, and I am one of those people who pretty much believes anything the doctor says. So….. will the fluoride do any good?
